Wharton, New Jersey – Anax Power (www.anaxpower.com), whose technology generates clean power from natural gas, without emissions, today announced that John Fox will join its Board of Directors.
“We’re excited to expand our board with the addition of John, who adds significant operational experience with waste-to-energy technology to our team. John has successfully guided several clean energy startups through the valley of death, and his experience will help Anax deliver the 500kW Anax Turboexpander (ATE) from promising technology to proven solution,” said Joe Longo, Anax’s CEO.
John Fox began his career at Pratt & Whitney Aerospace as an Engineering Manager before becoming a General Manager at Pratt & Whitney Power Systems. In 2010, John became the CEO of Electratherm, a global leader in engineering low temperature waste heat recovery solutions. As CEO, John orchestrated a complete turnaround of ElectraTherm’s business, which included raising $25M in outside capital, launching two new products, expanding from zero to over 75 units in 12 countries, and successfully selling the company to Bitzer in 2016.
Currently, John is the CEO of Rebound Technologies, which has developed a freeze point suppression cycle that enables agile cooling and humidity control for frozen food processors and cold chain logistics companies.
John holds a BS in Mechanical Engineering and an MS in Engineering Mechanics from Pennsylvania State University. He also holds an MBA from the University of Pittsburgh.
